Unconditional Love: Brad is an amazing man. God brought Brad into my life in August of 2005, and God knew that I would need him. Brad has a personality that draws people in. He is very well loved and liked. Brad is the type of guy that women just fall all over themselves for. Brad is a friend to everyone, but he is a close friend to me. I feel very privileged to have him as my friend. He looks out for me and is very protective (sometimes too much so :) The one thing that I love most about him is that he is always willing to hold me, let me cry, and he constantly tells me how beautiful, wonderful, and special that I am, and I believe him. When he tells me he loves me, I know that that it is true and genuine, and that he is not trying to gain anything from it. It is truly unconditional. Brad is my best friend Amy's fiance, and he is wonderful at knowing that to be engaged to her means I am part of the package, and yet I know that he loves me for me. I wanted to write this to thank him, for sharing himself with me, and for always being available to tell me that he loves me when I am in need of hearing it, no matter the time!!! Thank you for your daily prayers, and for never giving up on my insanity :) I Love you!!!

I came across this testimony, and really identified with it. My grandmother is an artist, my mother is an artist as well as an art teacher, I am a graphic designer, and my daughter shows great potential to be the most talented of us all. So to identify prophecy and to have God speak through Jill Austin's art really struck true with me, YOU ARE A MASTERPIECE :)

Jesus Was A Mudslinger Too!
During three days of fasting, the Lord showed me Jeremiah 18:2, "Arise and go down to the potter's house and there I will cause you to hear My words." I thought, "Wow Lord! There are mudslingers in the Bible! You're a potter! But, still, how can You use me? I have such a longing to be used by You but I don't know what it would even look like."

A Holy Ambush
It was the last day of a festival I was attending, and it was drizzling and overcast. I was assigned to spend some time with the children at the festival, and the children reminded me that I had promised to show them a potter's wheel. I really didn't want to go out in the rain, but I knew that I was trapped. So I went out onto the muddy field thinking, I shouldn't have promised and this is stupid. I took a piece of clay and with exasperation, said, "Oh, all right, come on over!" The children were so excited. Now I had to deal with not only making a pot in the rain, but with my bad attitude. I was frustrated and angry, and I especially didn't want to make a pot for children in the middle of a muddy field. But, I tried to get my heart right because I wanted the Lord to use me. I also wanted to be nice to the kids because I thought, the Lord's going to take me to the woodshed later.So in the middle of the muddy field and the drizzling rain, I put the clay on the potter's wheel, and I began to center it. All of a sudden, I heard the Lord's voice. It wasn't a big holy moment or a radical revelation. The heavens didn't open, and the angels didn't begin to sing. I was wrestling and working out my heart and, although I didn't realize it yet, God had just ambushed me by using these little children to push me through the birth canal and into what would eventually become my prophetic destiny.

The Audible Voice Of The Lord
As I spun the wheel, I heard God say,
"I will center you and take away your double-mindedness. I know you."
As my hands started to go into the foundations of the clay, He said,
"I will build a foundation which is based on the Word of God. When you were in your mother's womb, I knew you and loved you."
Revelation just started to flow through my whole being. My hands became His hands. I'd made thousands of clay vessels before, but suddenly He added the living word of God.
"You are beautifully and fearfully made."
I was listening to Him talk and thought, Wow, Lord, that is really good! He responded,
"Well, if it's that good, why don't you repeat it?"
So, still concentrating on my pot, I simply repeated what I heard. I said things like,
"I know your destiny, and I know your birthright. Your form was not hidden from Me. Your name is written on the palm of My hand."
As I spoke, the revelation of the Lord fell on me. A crowd started to form around me out in the rain and the dreariness, and people started to laugh and cry. As I pulled up the walls on the pot, I repeated,
"I will shape you and pull up your walls, almost to the breaking point, but I know who you are. I know your shape; I know your form. I know your function. My fingerprints will be seen on you."
I ended up making two vessels in the rain, and when I got off the wheel, I was trembling. I knew the Lord had sovereignly given me a profound gift. I knew He had spoken through me. I didn't know it was prophecy. This was 1971; there was no language about prophecy yet.

Ambushed Again!
A few days later, my Pastor phoned me and said that he had heard that I was doing stories on the potter's wheel. "I only did one at the festival," I replied. He shared about the Saturday night concerts at the church and how they wanted to feature local talent before the main band. He asked if I would be willing to share my story on the wheel. Naively, I said I would. The next Saturday night, I showed up at the church with my potter's wheel and wearing my overalls and my clunky, clay-covered hiking boots. The Pastor asked me to come to his office where all the musicians were hanging out. They were all wearing their black, shiny leather jackets and looking cool. I went up and said, "Hi guys!" and tried to look cool along with them. It's really hard to project a cool image as a female wearing dirty hiking boots. The Pastor asked, "Do you have your script? Are you ready?" I was taken aback, "Script? What do you mean by a script?" You see, I was trained as a fine artist, not a theatre major.
All of a sudden, he looked terrified and blurted out, "Well, you have to have a script. I asked you to tell a story on your potter's wheel. Didn't you write down your story and memorize it?" With an intense look on his face he asked, "Haven't you done that?" Well, you see," I stammered, "God, He talks to me, and I listen and then just repeat it." He looked shocked and said, "Nooooooo! You can't do it that way!" All of a sudden, sheer panic fell on me. "You're right, I can't do it that way." I didn't know I needed a script. God, I should have asked You what I was going to talk about. I didn't even know enough to ask. I've got to run and hide and find some place to hear You and pray. So that's how I ended up in the broom closet, terrified, as I heard the pastor's footsteps coming down the hall. He knocked on the door, and I said as nonchalantly as I could, "Yes? Come in."
He pulled open the door and said sternly, "No. You come out!" A few guys carried my potter's wheel out onto the stage. Fear gripped my heart as I watched them carry it all the way to the other side of the huge stage. Oh Jesus, why did they take it over there? How am I going to get all the way across the stage?
I took a step out from behind the curtain, got halfway across the stage and made the mistake of looking out at the audience of 2,000 people. Four thousand eyes were all staring back at me, and I froze. I had this silly grin on my face, but inside I was screaming, God, get me out of here. I promise I'll be good! I'll never sin again. I repent, forgive me for the past, the present and the sins I haven't even committed yet. Why was I so stupid to say yes to this? I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I'm so totally disqualified. This was so stupid; I'm so stupid--stupid, stupid, stupid.

God To The Rescue!
Suddenly I saw an open vision, and I heard the Lord say,
"You know your clay, right?"
And then He walked across the stage, and it was like I hung on to the hem of His garment and followed Him across that long stage and sat down at my potter's wheel. I managed to say, "Hi!" to the audience. I was still so scared. I didn't know what else to do, so I began making a pot. I put the clay on the wheel, and as I added water and began to center the clay, I heard the living, audible voice of the Lord.

The Gift of Prophecy
"Oh my child, I will never leave or forsake you."
My response was, "What took you so long?" But I didn't want to get too mad because I didn't want Him to stop speaking. So I began to hear the voice, and once again I portrayed God's heart while making a beautiful vessel. As my hands went deep into the clay, He said,
"I will pull up your walls and I will shape you. When you were in your mother's womb, I knew you."
As I formed the clay into a pitcher, He said,
"And you shall be My mouth piece. I will glaze you blue with revelation and with the gold of My Glory. I will send you forth to Argentina to bring forth revival to my people."
I shared approximately 15 minutes, and as I walked across the stage, 2,000 people gave me a standing ovation. It sure wasn't because I had stage presence or looked cool. It was because Holy Spirit came.I believe part of the key of moving in the prophetic is having a heart like a child that will simply follow Him. As soon as you get hung up on the titles, you begin to lose that child-like faith to fly like an eagle.

A thought on Women Ministers!!

David Yonggi Cho, Senior Pastor of a 700,000 plus member Yoido Full Gospel Church in Seoul, Korea stated, "For 5,000 years in Korea, women had no voice at all. They were only to cater to the needs of men. Then Christianity came and set women free. Especially in the church, women are free. In ministry, they are equal to men. They are licensed, they are ordained, they become deacons and elders, and they become cell leaders. While some argue that women should be silent in the church, I have seen that once women are called into ministry, they no longer belong to the category of women. They are messengers of the Lord."

This is the Korean Church, where is the American church? Where are you?

Bird Dog!

OK, so here I am struggling again with doubt about whether or not I am in God's will, and here is a great word from God that He gave me through Matthew (so please excuse the very male/hunting part of it:)

So Matthew says "Have you ever seen a bird dog hunt?"
And Barby says " Um, No I have NEVER seen a bird dog hunt!!!!"
And of course Barby is thinking to herself, here I am pooring my heart out, frustrated, and agrivated, and wanting answers, NOT hunting stories!!!

OK, OK listen

Matthew goes on. Bird dogs are going after birds, but they don't see them, they smell them. When they are on the trail, they zig, and they zag. This is the path that they have to take to get tho their prize. The ziging and zaging is neccessary. They cannot take a straight shot to the bird, because they would lose the sent. Now in the zigging and zagging, they have to be carful not to get caught up in sticker bushes or fall into gopher holes. They follow the path of their nose and they get the bird.

Barby this is you, you know God's will, you know the prize. You want to take the straight and FAST path. But your senses are taking you ziging and zagging, this is God's path. Watch out for the sticker bushes and the gopher holes, but do not doubt that promises/ prize that God has promised, just because you are following your nose instead of you eyes!!!

Word of the Lord 2006

On Friday January 20, 2006, Amy, Elizabeth, Staci, and I went to Versailles, Indiana to the 2006 Word of the Lord conference. It was great bonding time for us, and the words were awesome! Here is a quick rundown of what was said:

Oh and yes that is all 4 of us in a king sized bed, somehow our 2 doublebed room, got changed to a king sized bed, and when we got in at 1:30 in the morning there were no rooms to change to, so believe it or not we all fit just fine and slept pretty comfortably :)

We’re looking for that anointed empowered word to help us take our next step forward. Put faith back in the mix. Forget the failures behind. Press on. It’s a new year! It’s our year if you believe. Year of new beginnings. We look for fixes everywhere, self-help, get rich quick etc. the only place to look is the kingdom of God! He’d going to come and fix us from the inside. He’s going to do a mighty work in us. Then He can come manifest His glory thought us to a world in need of a fix.

The other half of the 6th day of creation. The 1st half is provision, the 2nd half fire burned up, humble yourself.
6th book=Romans6:6 sixth word=MAN-the old man, body of sin done away with. Six is man’s number. This is a year of Deliverance. Grace and Faith and Victory! As long as you’re repenting God won’t unveil your sin. Repent now or by the end of the year everyone will know.
Chapter 6= sin is death commandments, a higher level, delivered from sin.
Chapter 7=SELF 52 times– me, my, myself– get victory over yourself
Chapter 8= 57 Godhead mentions, only 2 personal pronouns-get out of being wrapped up in self
2006= Shift to a new dimension, a new level
2007= Major transition
2008= New beginning

3 keys that need to happen before Christ comes:
1. Gen 15:16, World’s cup of iniquity must be full– getting more wicked and evil
2. Israel– prophecies that still must be fulfilled. There will be major shaking. Romans 11, eventually they will return to Jesus as Messiah.
3. Church must be returned to full restoration. How the church goes, there the nation of Israel goes.

8 different prophets saw major explosions in Chicago, March/April, Israel or USA will bomb Iran.
Breakthrough spiritually and financially– in your mouth and in your heart, Confess, quote, and decree them!
Go through prophecies and start decreeing until you convince your mind, emotions, and will. Confess it!

A Word from Steve Shultz

PROPHETIC BULLETIN - "Prophetic Chatter" Increases Concerning the New 14-day Period

Dear Elijah List Readers,
Even as it's often said that intelligence agencies pick up chatter when something is "up," I wanted to tell you that there is increased "prophetic chatter" right now about an urgent need for increased intercession for the USA, Israel, and all Nations, especially in the next 14 days.
If I had any specifics that I could put my finger on....that I could trust--I'd tell you what those details were.
But I don't have specifics.
If I added them up, you would receive warnings about virtually every region of the country, and they would concern warnings about natural disasters, attacks on this country, etc. Lots of prophetic chatter but no agreement for any one thing.
So, rather than instill any type of fear, and since I don't HAVE any specifics where I can get any type of general agreement among the prophets, let me just say that the prophetic "chatter" concerning that next two weeks is that we need to be praying fervently and consistently for blessings and protection from God.
Pray for our President. Pray for THE USA. Pray for Israel. Pray for our soldiers and those from other countries.
Pray for ALL--and I mean ALL world leaders...because all world leaders are given authority only by God for the time period he chooses them to posess that authority.
My sense is that if God's people will pray, we can accomplish great things in the Spirit realm during these ensuing two weeks.
Just today, even at my local fellowship, the Spirit hit stronger than I've felt it in a very long time.
God is on the Move.
Youth are being lit on fire. Prophecies are coming forth and prophecies are coming true.
Put simply, things are in the Spirit realm at a very high level of activity, both good and bad.
So . . . armed with this information, pray that God will use this time period to dramatically change-for the-better both you and your family and friends.
In addition, pray fervently that whatever the enemy has plans for will be averted and that God's mercy will triumph amazingly over any judgment.
Finally, to all those who read this, remember this most important Scripture:
1 Tim 2:1-4 I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. NIV

So Excited!

Today, Amy, Elizabeth, Stacie and I are going to Versailles Indiana for the 2006 Word of the Lord Conference. We are going to have a blast, I am taking my camera, so we will have pictures, and I will tell you all about it on Monday!!! Have a great weekend, and may the Holy Spirit move in a mighty way this weekend wherever you are :)

Yesterday, Buck and Kristin and I did dissection for Sara, and it was really good. She is so amazing and God is going to use her in such a mighty way. Be sure to let her know how much you love her, and appreciate her. She is special and she will improve your life by knowing her!!!!

Crazy Day!

OK, yesterday I came under some major spiritual attack! Yuck, and to say the least I handled it pretty crappy, but that is training ground isn't it. God is so good anyway, the ironic thing was that during a time of prayer and frustration, I was crying, and yelling at God about Matt, and I had just asked God for some sort of confirmation that I was not alone, and who happens to walk in the door? You guessed it, Matt!! So I spent the day sleeping, puking, and crying out to God. Here is one interesting tidbit that God taught me:

God uses 3s alot, There is the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. One yet separate. In a marriage, there is 3 also, Husband, Wife, and God. One yet separate. Well I was thinking about relationships, and marriage and God revealed another 3 to me, and was talking to me about the importance of balance in this three also. We as people also have a body, soul, and spirit. One being yet separate. We strive to keep these in balance also, each one affects the other, if one is off, the others start to show signs also. I have many different relationships of love with those around me. But the love relationship of a potential spouse can be very complicated for singles. And I have heard things like "I am so physically attracted to you" and "I love you like a sister", and "We are best friends" amongst people of the opposite sex. But God was showing that to be truly balanced in a love relationship with a spouse or a potential spouse we need to be 3 also, sister, best friend, and lover. These three cover the three parts of the human makeup. All 3 are VERY important, they need to co-exist. The best friend is the soul, or emotions. This is the person we go to when we are having a good day, or a bad day, this is the person we tell about how we feel, whether it is something really deep, or about what you ate for lunch. This is the person that you want to spend time with, whether you are talking or not. Spiritually you should be brothers and sisters in Christ. You look out for each other like blood, even though you might fight, you are loyal because of the connection. You desire to teach and grow each other, you want to share God experiences with each other. Spiritually you are family, and everything that family entails. And then there is the physical, yes as potential spouses, the physical is very important. It is to be neither the most important thing, forgetting all else, but it is also not to be looked at as not important. Our physical body's are temples of God, this signifies the importance of our physical being, and God wants us to be physically healthy with our spouse, so don't disregard the physical, or put too much emphasis on it. The key is balance. All three are to be in balance, and if you are in a relationship, and one or two of these are a little lacking, I suggest you seek God and look for the balance, it really enhances all of it!!!

Matthew is Home!

Matthew is home, he invited me over for supper last night, and it was nice to get to catch up. He is such a great cook!! We watched the movie the Transporter 2(which I was pretty disapointed in) and then we went through pictures. It was fun getting to see his family and friends through his eyes as he talked about his memories.

The TFC jr high winter retreat was this past weekend, and there were 18 salvations!! PTL. God is so amazing. His Spirit can't help but move, and we just need to hold on and be obediant.

The word for the day is Jude 20-21, "But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life." To build faith we are to pray in the Holy Spirit. How do you pray in the Holy Spirit? Is your faith growing? This is an example of praying in the Spirit that is for personal benefit. There are times for encouraging the body, but how do we encourage the body if we ourselves are not built up in Faith? Soooooo, BUILD!!!! Pray without ceasing!!!! Pray in the Spirit!!!!

I Love you!

My daughter I love you, I speak to you, do not doubt, I have things happening just as I would have them. The pieces are needed to create the masterpiece, draw nearer to me, soak in me, find joy in me, the outside world is not going to understand. I have chosen you for this path because I knew that you would have the faith to trust me as Mary did. You shall prosper, your Faith shall move mountains, your faith in me will grow and there will be no stopping the power that I shall bestow upon you! I shall create you into a mighty warrior. You will be more then you can even imagine, so dream big, I shall grant you the desires of your heart. Your heart is pure, you long to follow me in all that you do, and I am pleased. I shall stretch you and grow you. I will always be here to give you rest and to establish you in my calling and will. You are not normal, and you will not do the normal, I will use you to break religious spirits, to take back what the enemy has stolen. You shall move in many circles, you will be an example of unity, and yet you will not Bend the truth, you will flow wherever I put you. Many Christians will not like you, and many more will be drawn to you like a magnet. You will reveal my Spirit to the coming generations. You cannot go any deeper in God than into His Holy Spirit.Venturing into His mysterious, consuming depths is very similar to venturing into an ocean. For some people, the beach is just fine. They like the openness, specifically the sunshine and warm sand. Safe upon the shore, you don't have to worry about losing control or being pulled out farther than you wanted; you're completely safe and nothing can get you--a very important option for some people.For others, the best part is the snorkeling. What an adventure! You get to be fully submerged in the water. . . at least, as fully as a flimsy piece of plastic in your mouth will let you. Swimming only a foot or two beneath the waves, you are able to see a hundred things beneath the surface that you never would have seen otherwise. When compared to staying on the beach, snorkeling can seem to be pretty daring.
Living in the Spirit Means. . .But then, there are the people who go deep--way deep, beyond what is humanly possible.You cannot go any deeper in God than into His Holy Spirit. Some people are content to just be by Him, soaking up the rays. Others only want to get their head wet or have the rush of being momentarily submerged in Him. But others, desperate to find Him or die in the attempt, take a flying leap off the side, with nothing to keep them afloat, nothing to keep them alive beneath the surface--except Him.It's like stepping off a boat with nothing beneath your feet but the Mariana Trench. Suddenly, you are just plain gone, and all that remains is Him.This is what living in the Spirit means.
The Power of the Holy SpiritJesus told His disciples that it was to their advantage for Him to go back to the Father so that the Holy Spirit would come to them. In other words, He was saying, "Everything I do is by the power of the Holy Spirit; now I'm leaving so that He can come. And you are really going to like what the Spirit does. You're going to be empowered. You're going to have more authority than you have ever had before."Jesus did signs and wonders because of the power of the Holy Spirit within Him. Through that same Spirit, the mysteries of God are revealed to you, both the large mysteries that are heralded by angels and the small mysteries that are whispered by children.
You are able to bless and glorify God with your words and hands only because of the Holy Spirit. He is the same Spirit who brooded over the chaos of the earth in Genesis 1, and He is the same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead. You are intricately, intimately connected with God.
All or NothingMany of us think that the coming of the Holy Spirit is like a Christian nirvana, but this isn't always the case. Drowning can be a scary experience. We cannot take precautions with God. We can't prepare a Route B just in case He doesn't come through. Having a back-up plan isn't true faith.
With God, it's all or nothing. No scuba gear. No snorkel. And definitely not an umbrella for the beach.The secret to living in the Spirit of God is this: You can have as much of Him as you want. If you want the beach, then you'll have the beach. But if you want the depths of Him, then the bottom of the sea is also available. Which do you prefer?In this new year, may your heart's cry be for all of Him--for the deepest depths of the sea.

A thought about unfullfilled prophecy!

I was talking to someone about prophecy, and it is funny how God can speak through you to someone, and in the process, He is actually speaking to you too. Here is what He was telling me. We were talking about how it seems that we can get a word from the Lord, something that seems very clear and very significant about your future. And then in a very short time it seems as if everything goes wrong. The word you just received seems like the least likely thing to be true. I was being asked this question, about how to have faith in what the Lord has promised you, when the world, the people you love the most, and even yourself doubts. And this is what God said to me. Look at Christ, every word He gave was met with opposition. The world definitely told Him that He was wrong, the modern day religious people told Him he was wrong, and even His closest friends, and family doubted what He said many times. The disciples were told many wonderful promises and prophecies before they entered Jerusalem, Jesus told them about establishing His kingdom, about tearing down the temple and rebuilding it, they went into the city expecting great victory!!! And then days later, Jesus is being arrested, beaten and finally crucified. What do you think they thought about His words to them??? David was anointed King, then he had to wait 17 years, and many times during that time he was hunted, and basically an outlaw, did his circumstances fit his prophecy? Look at Joseph, he was told that his family would bow down to him, and then he was almost murdered, and instead thrown into slavery. Mary was visited by an Angel and told that she was blessed among women, then she was pregnant outside of wedlock, had a fiance almost abandon her, and was ostracize by her family, friends and neighbors. Does this seem like "blessed among women" to you, and yet she was the mother of Christ, she had great faith, and her promises were fulfilled as all of these examples were. God does not go back on his word, he does not make mistakes, we just don't always understand His ways, or timing. But your promises WILL be fulfilled. This is a time to build your faith, trust Him, if it all came easy, then we wouldn't feel that we needed Him, we would be spoiled, and our strength would be minimal. God is looking for a generation that He can trust to do signs wonders and miracles, so how do we establish the faith for this? Through giving us words, dreams, and visions, then see if we will stick with Him through to the end, and then He will give us another, and another, and before you realize it you are doing the signs, wonders and miracles!!!! Wow. So be encouraged, if satan is attacking you, and if it seems like there is no possible way that your prophecy, or word could possible come true, then you are probably on the right track :)

It's Saturday!

Ya it's Saturday, and normally I would not be posting today, because I only have access to a computer M-Th, but I stopped in today to pick something up, and thought I would post. Matt is in New York, and has been gone since Sunday, I have been very good at not really missing him to much until this morning :) So I can't wait until he comes home, it is crazy, because I have gotten so used to telling him everything, so much has happened, and I have not shared it with him! Not that he really cares anyway, but he is good at listening and pretending :) Oh well, I am getting my nails done today, (they are still Black from getting them done New years) Oh , I will post new years pictures, they are great. Amy and I look sooooo hot, and Brad proposed to Amy, the the night was extra, extra special!!! Last night I went out to supper with Jennifer, we hit it off very well, I believe we are going to be lifelong friends. We connected in so many ways. A group also came over and watched the movie RENT, it was very interesting to watch everyones different reactions to a very controversial film.

Todays note from God is to remember that His plan is always the best plan, even when everything is pointing the opposite direction. Trust in His promises, He will not fail you.
