Oh Mother in Israel!

Judges 5:6
"The highways were deserted, And the travelers walked along the byway Village life ceased, it eased in Israel, Until I Deborah, arose, arose a mother in Israel."

The Butterfly

I recently read this excerpt from the book "Mantled with Authority"-God's Apostolic Mandate to Women, and came accross this clip by Jean Hodges, and was so moved I had to share it with you!!! Pay close attention to the last paragraph. You may look fragil, but you are strong and reflect His beauty, you are valuable and important. Where would we be without you!!

Recently I visted a butterfly farm and was amazed as I watched thousands of beautiful lacy-winged, brilliantly colored insects flutter from flower to flower. We were told how they go through stages of change, first as caterpillars, who eat with voracious appetites, then cocoon themselves away, and are in time transformed into the lovely creatures that emerge to fly thousands of miles, cross-pollinate plants, and fulfill their destinies.

For many seasons women have been relegated to the worm stage and have been oppressed and suppressed by cultures, wrong attitudes, mores, and religious systems. In this new season, the Lord is feeding His handmaidens with the truth of the Word of God. He is cocooning them in His love and beginning to transform them, to heal them of old wounds, and to redeem them to the full purpose for which He designed them.

Butterflies look very fragile, yet they are extremely strong-able to traverse continents and overcome many obstacles. In this new season, the Lord is bringing forth women of all colors and nationalities, infused with His Spirit-called to reflect His beauty, to demonstrate His love, to proclaim His message, and to release His power in all the nations of the world.

Trinity

The words to this song really struck me today,
I am defiled, I am unpure, I am a hypocrit,
BUT God has saved me, God has cleansed me,
Holy Spirit speak for me in my mess,
Thank you Lord for your sacrificial blood,
With out you I am nothing

Trinity - Jennifer Knapp

You in the mirror starin' back at me
Oh, conscience let me be
To the pure, all things are pure
To those who're defiled, unbelieving, nothing is pure
Their minds, their conscience defiled
They profess to know God
But deceive Him by deeds all the while

Where do I stand?
On the rock or in the sand?
Oh, Holy Spirit won't You help me understand?

Holy Spirit, won't You say a prayer for me?
With your groanings
My mind, my conscience defiled
Send the blood of the lamb don't leave me in exile

What was that promise on the cross at Calvary?
Confess the Lord and the truth shall set you free (yeah)
Create in me a clean heart, O God
Renew a steadfast spirit whithin me
To my prayers you've always given heed

Blessed be thy God
Who never turned away from me
Hid his face from all my sin, forgot
Forgot my iniquity

(Go on and)Raise your hands sing praises to the Lord
He is the King and He'll reign forevermore
He died on the cross at Calvary
He died to save a wretch like me

Jennifer Knapp - Trinity

Behold the Lamb

Here is a Word that was sent through Elijah list, and God said "I wrote this for YOU"!
I believe He wrote it for YOU, too!
I love you

BEHOLD THE LAMB!
I am your intercessor, your advocate.

I have called you into battle, and your armor is ready.

Take up the mantle, receive your instruction, and go forth in the power and authority of My name.

Construct the walls, guard the territory, and prepare the land for My return.

Take the keys, unlock the doors, and raise the banners for all to see.

Shout blessings and honor and sing the songs of victory for the enemy is about to be defeated.

Let freedom ring in the land, set the captives free--those in chains and shackles. Break free those bound by spiritual bondage.

Press forward and march taking the enemy's camp by storm. The battle will be won by Me, but there will be suffering for My name’s sake.

Be prepared to die for Me, knowing you will reign beside Me forever.

MY TRUTH WILL PREVAIL
The realities of the world are being revealed to you, and your eyes have been opened.

My truth will prevail and those not ready, those who do not hear, will be slaughtered in the midst of the battle.

Keep silent and listen--listen for the sound of the approaching army. They are in sync, in motion. They are in sync, in step. They are of one heart, in unity of Spirit. My Spirit is upon them as they move and advance forward.

DON'T BE LEFT BEHIND
Let those whom I have called come out to join the ranks as they pass by. Do not be passed by nor left behind. Go, when called. Respond, when the knock is heard upon the door. Go with the authority I have given you and do not look back.

Behind you is yesterday, and though yesterday is what brought you to today, it is not what will take you into tomorrow.

It is I that gives you tomorrow--your portion will be given to you daily. Your anointing for battle is given every day for that day’s battle. Saving up for tomorrow’s battle will only add burdens and weigh you down. Let Me carry your weapons into battle, and I will hand you what you will need as you go forward in obedience.

Let those who stand in battle with you understand the vision given. Hear the words and instruction I give, and tell them the strategy. They will hear My voice of wisdom speaking through you, for I will have already prepared their hearts for the truth that will come forth.

EACH WILL BE GIVEN KEYS AND GIFTS...
Those that have been called will hear and rise up to the battle cry. Each will be given keys and gifts to match their task. I will pour out an abundance of grace and mercy upon their endeavors, for I am a rewarder of those who diligently seek and serve Me.

Mary did you know?

As is my case lately, I tend to be attacked with self doubt. And when this happens I beat myself up because I am a strong Christian leader, who should not doubt the Word of the Lord!!! Right? Well, in my prayers and cryings out to God, (which is why I feel he lets me doubt, because otherwise I would get a big head and forget to be on my face before Him, because I am too busy doing the Lords work!!!! Praise the Lord, He keeps me humble!!) Well He brought me to Mary, the mother of Jesus. And here is what God started to reveal to me. First of all, we tend to picture Mary as this perfect, pious woman. You know with the halo around her head. Obviously she was Holy right? Well, she was probably 14 or 15 years old, and we all know how teenagers are. I was thinking, that for God to have chosen her, she probably had to be pretty spunky!!! Think about it. An angel appears to you and tells you that you are going to have a baby, and the father is God, and you will not be with a man until after the baby is born!!! OK first thing she says is "not me God!!! are you sure you got the right house?" She asks how this is possible, and the Angel says "don't worry God will do it!!" And she says OK, if you say so! And the Angel leaves. Now that is a pretty awesome word from God, how can you doubt it??? And yet we all get pretty awesome words from God, and we still doubt. I believe that God knew that she would question what had just happened, and figure that she was just insane. No one would believe her. So that is why he told her about Elizabeth. Scripture says that Elizabeth was 6 months pregnant, when the angel told Mary about her. Then it says that Mary went to see her and that she stayed 3 months. And after Mary left, John was born. So with these figures in mind, Mary went to Elizabeths right away. So when Mary came around the bend and Elizabeth saw her, Mary was probably not even 1 month along!!! She probably wasn't even sure yet if what she was feeling was actually her being pregnant or her just so scared that she was feeling sick!!! But Elizabeth cries out "Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb, but why is this granted to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?" Mary needed this confirmation to her word. She was going to go back home, and tell everyone that she was expecting, but it was not her fiance's baby, but God's. She was probably assaulted and ridiculed on all sides. Everyone was against her. Her fiance didn't even believe her at first, it took a 2x4 from God for Him to believe her!!! I believe that she went through all of the emotions that we go through, one day excited and elated about God's calling and purpose, and the next crying out going "God I can't do this, it is too hard, why me?" And God consoled her, God comforted her, and God chose her. She was human, made mistakes, and yet she was a strong woman of God. She chose to believe no matter what came to her, whether from the outside world, or from her own inner turmoil. She continued to lean on God's promises to her, GOD'S PROMISES TO HER!!! His voice spoke to her, and she had to believe it!!! Believe it!!! Even when it looked like it was not possible!! She believed it!!! Luke 1:26-58

In conclusion, God used an ordinary girl/woman, and gave her an extraordinary purpose, (ya that is you too, he has given us all extraordinary purposes) and with much frustration and faith God got the glory in her life!!!! He WILL in yours (and mine) too...

I Love you

Zechariah 2:5

What kind of car are you?

I'm a Chevrolet Corvette!

You're a classic - powerful, athletic, and competitive. You're all about winning the race and getting the job done. While you have a practical everyday side, you get wild when anyone pushes your pedal. You hate to lose, but you hardly ever do.

Go to www.tomorrowland.us/sportscar to take the quiz for yourself :)

Matt's sister had this quiz on her blogg, and since I love cars, I couldn't resist taking it and sharing it with YOU!
